T Project

I have been playing with Maya Fur, Nhair, Paint Affects trying to figure out what I liked best I ended up using Nhair and using wind to get the hairs on the rump to go in the right direction and set it as my rest position. Next I need to work on lighting and rendering in mental ray.

T in Mudbox




So I spent most of today in Mudbox learning some cool tricks on how to transfer all my detail without the geometry as well as had some fun with the pose tool and this is what I ended up with when I brought it back into Maya to get Hair.

A piece I did for portfolio I wanted to do a photo fun realistic glass bottle. I used a displacement map for the bump and used a dielectric material plugged into a anisotropic material.

Heart

Here is the latest heart. I modeled it in Maya then took it into Zbrush to create a displacement map and create the UVs. I did the texture in Photoshop. Next i went back to Maya and put a sub surface scatter on it and threw my lights in and did a turn table. Last i rendered in mental ray and took it into After Affects for compositing.

My Model of the WB frog from the character modeling class.

A fish model I did a couple of semesters ago for a character modeling class. After the class was over I took him into ZBrush to Paint.
