Jacks Hosue

Jack Well Set
Here is the latest render, we went back to fur for the grass because paint effects can not have shadows cast on them. I also converted the paint effect plants to polys.

Working on Rendering/Compositing
As you can see these renders have flaws. I decided to post them to show my work progress as i work to make them better. I am trying to figure out the best way to composite my layers.
These first layer was done in metal ray with a key pass, shadow pass, ambient color pass, ambient occlusion pass.
This layer was done in maya software because it is Maya paint effects.
This last image is just the ambient occlusion pass from above

Maya Fur work

Teddy
I did the Maya Fur tutorial to better understand how the fur tool works. I am going to experiment with it to create grass for Good Boy Jack.
